There are high crime rates bc everyone's allowed to have guns and the legal system is fucked, some residents have really shit discriminatory opinions sometimes, and there's a lot of bad history.
It's like any other dominant country ig. A lot of it's driven by money though. Healthcare isn't free and it's expensive. College/university isn't free and it's expensive. And we vote in our leaders but the wealthy really have the last say in everything which leaves the poor ppl to just get poorer and more fed up.
