[ Noctis isn't early this time. And amazingly he isn't late either, arriving exactly twenty-five minutes later looking far better than he had last time they were here. The dark circles are still a present feature, sure, but the cast is gone and so is some of that emptiness in his expression.

( jason isn't bothered by them. wouldn't be bothered showing them off--every scar he has is another story, every bruise has a reason behind it, even if it's stupid. he doesn't mind them. but there are people in this city who have proven they've followed him around before, and he has no intention of being out in public when he's obviously worse for wear. this, at least, keeps those to a minimum. )

His magic has done a good job of making sure of that over the years, so much so that the only visible scar currently on his body is what's left over now from Connor's bullet to his arm. Covering that up would feel wrong too, but he's not about to judge. ]
I guess... we've all been shot plenty of times. I've set him on fire, but those were accidents. He shouldn't run in when I'm attacking; he knows better and I've told him before.
